Dillon is a 19-year-old social entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, Co-Founder of the environmental venture, PickWaste, as well as 1 of Canada’s Top 25 Environmentalists under 25. He is currently studying at the University of Waterloo, Majoring in Finance and Accounting, and minoring in environmental studies. His message is to empower youth to unleash their potential to make a change in society by committing to small consistent actions! Dillon has a huge passion for innovation and sustainability and he believes that it is the future of this world.

Have you ever struggled with, “just getting started?” Dillon will be speaking about how the only way only way to start anything in life and the only way grow as an individual is by being uncomfortable. He will be sharing his story about how he founded his own environmental venture at 18 years old, how he got an internship at the largest professional service firm in the world, and how he received the opportunity to work with Canada’s entrepreneur of the year! As a recent graduate, he understands the everyday struggles of a high school student, and will provide tangible ways you can overcome adversity on your journey!
